Isabelle Arsenault is an illustrator from Quebec/Canada. Her illustrations are by far some of my favorite. She also publishes beautiful comics, I will personally recommend  Jane, the Fox, and Me, but they are all really wonderful.

Mattis Dovier is a 26 year old illustrator from France. Because of his family’s artistic background, he’s always had a fascination with art, especially drawing. He has tackled a number of mediums, from stills to GIFs on his blog to music video animation. When asked what led him to making his mystic, melancholic, and contemplative works, Mattis said:

“My mother made engraving, so she used to draw a lot, and my brother was very skilled in drawing… I wanted [that] to be a part of me too! I was interested in the comics and [that’s] the way I went to illustration.”

Some of Mattis’ favorite artists include Alberto Breccia, Hayao Miyazaki, Katsuhiro Otomo, Suehiro Maruo, and Ugo Bienvenu.
